Famalicão promotes Camilo Castelo Branco at the Lisbon Tourism Fair - Portal do Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão - Portugal

The Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão is once again at the Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL), taking place until Sunday 16th at the Lisbon International Fair in Parque das Nações.

Famalicão is taking part in the event as part of the ‘Minho’ area at the Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal stand, promoting and highlighting the territory's many tourist attractions.

In this edition, and marking the bicentenary of the birth of the novelist Camilo Castelo Branco, who lived and wrote most of his work in Famalicão, the focus will be on literary tourism with the promotion of the Camilo Route.

BTL is the main trade fair dedicated to the tourism sector in Portugal.

This year's event has a new identity, reflecting a renewed and dynamic approach under the theme ‘Better Tourism Lisbon’, which aims to internationalise the event.
