Praça Academy runs until June at the Municipal Market - Portal do Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão - Portugal

Praça - Famalicão Municipal Market and AESACADEMY are promoting the ‘Praça Academy’, transforming the market's experimental kitchen into a training and capacity building space for Famalicans and all those who frequent the space.

The initiative comprises two sessions a month, with various themes throughout the year, always with a focus on promoting and valorising local products and producers.

The project also includes a masterclass for professionals, which is important for boosting the circular economy and supporting the development of partnerships and businesses between the various local players, especially in the areas of trade and production of fresh and essential goods and catering and hospitality.

The next ‘Academia da Praça’ session takes place this Saturday, 8 March, on the subject of puff pastry. The initiative continues on 23 March (spoon desserts), 5 and 26 April (French Cuisine and American Pastries), 10 and 24 May (Mexican Recipe and Conventual Sweets) and 7 June (festive cake).
