The Mallards are a family of ducks who lead a quiet life on a beautiful lake in New England. Although Pam, the mother, is eager to migrate and show her two children the world, she is constantly stalled by her husband, Mack, a very protective male who avoids leaving (or letting them leave) his comfort zone at all costs. But when they learn about the incredible adventures of a family of birds who have just returned from travelling, Pam finally manages to convince Mack to go. Together, they plan a route full of beautiful places heading south, with faraway Jamaica as their final destination. Produced by Illumination Studios (responsible for the films Despicable Me, Sing!, The Secret Life of Pets and Minions) and distributed by Universal Pictures, this is an animated film for all the family.
