PELES - International Drum Fest returns with concert at Camillian Study Centre

Atlantic Percussion Group, formed by José Afonso Sousa and Tomás Rosa, will be the protagonists of the concert next October 1st, at Centro de Estudos Camilianos, in Seide São Miguel, in the context of the 6th edition of PELES - International Drum Fest, a festival organized by CAISA - Cooperative of Arts, Social Intervention and Animation and TOCA - Academy of Performing Arts, with the support of the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão and Guimarães.

PELES will take place on September 1st, 3rd and 5th in mixed format - presential and online -, in the parishes of Seide S. Miguel, Vila Nova de Famalicão, and Vermil, Guimarães, with concerts and artistic residencies focused on the crossing of percussive musical languages.

In addition to the Atlantic Percussion Group concert, an artistic residency of creation and a percussion workshop are also scheduled to take place in the territory of Vila Nova de Famalicão, on September 30, at the Kindergarten of Seide São Miguel, under the guidance of José Afonso Sousa and Tomás Rosa.
