From next Tuesday, the municipalities of Famalicão, Trofa and Santo Tirso will be connected by a new road transport network, granted to the company Transdev, with a total of 90 lines, served by more than 100 buses, at around 2,700 stops.
Mobiave, as the new service is called, was presented on Wednesday (March 26) at a ceremony held at the National Railway Museum - Lousado.
In the municipality of Famalicense, the entry into force of the new network represents a reinforcement of the road offer, with a total of 67 lines, 4.2 million annual kilometres and 1,514 stops.
The reinforcement of the offer is also felt in the timetables on weekdays, but especially on Saturdays and Sundays.
Mobiave's entry into force will bring changes to all parishes in the municipality. There are, however, areas where these changes are more significant: União das Freguesias (UF) de Vila Nova de Famalicão e Calendário, UF de Antas e Abade de Vermoim, Ribeirão, Lousado, Vilarinho das Cambas, UF de Esmeriz e Cabeçudos, Fradelos, Brufe, Louro, Gavião, Cruz, Mogege, UF de Lemenhe, Mouquim e Jesufrei, Oliveira São Mateus, Delães, Oliveira Santa Maria, Riba de Ave and Joane.
