County Walks are an outdoor leisure activity, consisting of walking a pre-established route.
These activities do not involve competition, and their main objective is to discover and get in touch with nature, and consequently acquire more in-depth knowledge of the region to be travelled.
With this in mind, the municipality is organising a series of short walks, covering all the parishes in the municipality, with the following main objectives:
- to make residents and visitors aware of the heritage that characterises the area covered by the walks, through on-site observation of geological formations, flora, fauna and their habitats, as well as local culture, its richness and gastronomy;
- the promotion and revitalisation of areas that in themselves are penalised
