Forest Bathing is much more than a walk in nature. Research carried out first in Japan and then in other countries has shown that practising this complex of activities reduces the symptoms of anxiety, depression and anger, reduces stress and its hormones, and improves physical strength. Studies have shown that the result of Forest Bathing is our body's response to exposure to the monoterpenes and negative ions present in the forest and natural environments, and to exposure to the archetypes of the landscape and their psycho-emotional effects on people, finding results that strengthen the consistency and importance in human health.
