In an act of resistance and a search for justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the film tells the story of the alliance (and friendship) between Palestinian Basel Adra and Israeli Yuval Abraham, two journalists who decided to join forces to denounce the violence and the consecutive demolitions of houses in Masafer Yatta - a group of Palestinian villages in the south of the West Bank - by the Israeli army and settlers. Winner of the prize for best documentary at the 2024 Berlin International Film Festival, the European Film Awards and the 2025 Oscars, ‘No Other Land’ was written and directed between 2019 and 2023 by four political activists: two Palestinians (Basel Adra and Hamdan Ballal) and two Israelis (Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor).
