The crowd. There are many individuals who make up this mass of people. Mr Normal Z and Mr Normal W walk through the sky. They think straight, without distractions, and their time and necks are tight.
How can you tell Mr Normal Z from Mr Normal W in the crowd? What is hidden beyond what is visible?
Magritte inspires us with his universe of deceptive perceptions. He says ‘everything we see hides something else; we would love to see what what we see hides from us...’. Like him, we too have this desire.
