Agenda Municipal / Music Adriana Calcanhotto: Margem
Sun 22 Nov
House of Arts Program
House of Arts | Grand Auditorium - 9:30 pm
Admission: 20 euros. Students, Quadrilátero Cultural Card and Seniors (from 65 years old): 10 Euros | Classification: M/6 | Duration: 70 min
With the new album “Margem”, Adriana Calcanhotto closes the maritime trilogy started with “Maritmo” (1998), the first that explains her passion for the sea and “Maré” (2008), her seventh album, which reinforces the oceanic ambience. “Margem” allows, on stage, the meeting of these three maritime projects, separated by ten years each and by different musical adventures between them. In addition to the focus on these three works, the concert also features some songs from parallel albums and songs by Adriana Calcanhotto recorded by other performers, such as “Livre do amor”, which has an anthological recording in the voice of Gal Costa. All this in the company of Bem Gil (guitar, flute), Bruno Di Lullo (bass and synths) and Rafael Rocha (drums and acoustic and electronic percussions), the trio responsible for Margem's beautiful sound.
