Book about Famalicão's toponymy presented on January 4

28-12-2022
The book 'Famalicão through its Toponymy', authored by João Afonso Machado and David Vieira de Castro, will be presented on January 4 (Wednesday), 18h30, at Casa do Território of Devesa Park.

This work provides researchers and those interested in famalicense historiography, the compilation, in a single edition, of the study on the various arteries famalicenses, in the form of a roadmap on a journey through Famalicão.

With research and texts by João Afonso Machado and illustrations by David Vieira de Castro, the book, published by Edições Húmus, has the editorial support of the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, and joins the collection 'Biblioteca Vila Nova de Famalicão: Memória e Identidade', of the authority, which already includes the work 'Casas Nobres Famalicenses (ou o que delas resta)', by the same authors.

The work will be on sale in the day of the presentation, January 4th, and can also be acquired, later, in the Municipal Bookshop, located in the Casa do Território.
