Several years have passed since Gru left his mischief and became an agent of the Anti-Villain League. Now, with his family by his side, he feels as fulfilled as ever, especially since the arrival of little Gru Jr, a baby as adorable as he is moody. But everything gets complicated when he discovers that Maxime Le Mal, his mortal enemy, has just escaped from prison and, with his girlfriend Valentina as his accomplice, he intends to take down Gru and everything he has built. Produced by animation studio Illumination Entertainment and directed by Chris Renaud (responsible for the films Despicable Me 1 and 2, Lorax and The Secret Life of Pets 1 and 2) and newcomer Patrick Delage, this animated comedy continues the story of Gru, the most lovable of anti-heroes, who was first introduced to us in 2010.
