Abe Rábade is a pianist and composer born in Compostela. He has fifteen albums as a leader, the most recent being Botanica. He is the author of hundreds of compositions in jazz, classical, experimental and traditional roots music styles. He presents himself as a storyteller. After his second residence Jazz na Aldeia, in 2022, he reunites now with the Eixo do Jazz Ensemble (EJE) to record another album at Casa das Artes de Famalicão. This is already the fourth record to be recorded by Eixo do Jazz with EJE. Eixo was awarded a prize from the Caixa Cultura programme to help edit this collection.
