‘Let's Take Care of the Rest’ wants to encourage the citizens to separate bio-waste  - Portal do Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão - Portugal

In addition to undifferentiated waste and materials that can be properly recycled, citizens can also separate bio-waste. For those who don't know how to deal with these leftovers - food, fruit peelings, vegetables, coffee grounds or small green waste - the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão is once again promoting the ‘Let's deal with the leftovers’ awareness campaign and sensitising the population to the selective collection of this waste in the area where the bio-waste collection project is in force.

The campaign not only aims to sensitise the community to separate this waste, but also to explain the importance of this action and how it should be done. Awareness-raising will take place door-to-door on 23, 27 and 28 December, between 10h00 and 1700. 

The three teams in charge of the project will distribute a brown bio-waste container and an explanatory flyer to all those interested.
