With just two singles out, Milhanas was nominated for Breakthrough Artist at the Play Awards. This was followed by nominations at the Golden Globes for Best Song of the Year and Breakthrough Award. At the end of the year, in 2023, she was also nominated for Best Performance of the Year at the Iberian Awards. ‘De Sombra a Sombra’ marks her debut on record and explores the author's shadows and regrets. Mixing modern interpretations of fado with pop and urban music, Milhanas' debut album promises to become a landmark of contemporary Portuguese music through the unique identity it demonstrates.
