Porto Pianofest Festival
Cupertino de Miranda Foundation - Auditorium | 19h30
Free entry subject to room capacity | Observance of DGS rules (Use of Mask, Hand Disinfection, Social Distancing)
Porto Pianofest presents in concert a selection of the most outstanding resident artists, who travel from the USA and England for this edition of the festival. The concert will be presented by pianist and director of PPF, Nuno Marques.
Porto Pianofest is an 8-day event, around the best music, art and culture. This international music festival presents concerts by prestigious artists, and merges European and North American pedagogical methods through artistic residencies. The festival aims to promote the image of Porto and the north of the country, boosting the attractiveness of the tourism and cultural industries, democratising the offer of classical music to the national and foreign public.
In its first collaboration with the City Council of Famalicão, the PPF will present some of the most outstanding resident artists of this edition, who come to Portugal exclusively to participate in the festival. These are pianists who, despite their youth, already have considerable careers and who, for a week, will have the opportunity to dedicate themselves to the preparation and subsequent presentation of their work in concert. This show will be presented by the pianist and director of Porto Pianofest, Nuno Marques.
