Following on from the previous album based on the electronic universe of Nordic glaciers presented last year (which had its premiere at the Narciso Ferreira Theatre), this will be an exclusive presentation of Sandy Kilpatrick's latest work, inspired by the landscapes and musical history of California as a solo artist.
In this set of songs, Kilpatrick returns to the acoustic guitar, the instrument that brought him to music in the first place. Kilpatrick has been a long-time fan of much of the music that has emerged from California since the 1970s, a legendary period of songwriting that saw classic works emerge from greats such as Van Morrison, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell.
Sometimes there's no better way to feel a song than the sound of a beautiful melody, a powerful story and an acoustic guitar.
