2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of André Breton's First Manifesto of Surrealism. This work marks the theorisation of this revolutionary movement which, being artistic and literary, essentially aims to liberate human existence and the consequent socio-cultural transformation of the world.
In this exhibition, the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation presents a unique show celebrating this centenary, with emblematic works that portray the subversive spirit and creative freedom that define this artistic movement as one of the most avant-garde of the 20th century.
