There are many ways to think about Fernando Pessoa and his many heteronyms, but Edgar Pêra has to come along to make them all play table football with each other. Not only that, but he makes them all his creator's amanuensis, dressed alike, identified by the stripes on their jackets and working in a publishing house that is preparing issue 23 of Orpheu magazine. A long-gestating project, this literary "neon-noir" was written with Luísa Costa Gomes and is anchored in the idea of heteronyms to play with the codes of genre cinema and the B series, passed through Pêra's particular system of psychotropic filters (even if, here, much more controlled than usual). In this parallel universe built from Pessoa's work, the "real" poet, played by actor Miguel Borges, runs the publishing house that is also a "content producer" signed by his heteronyms on long rows of desks, with a film department run by Álvaro de Campos (Ecce Film, in fact an idea of Pessoa's that even had a logo). As well as Borges as the protagonist, the cast also includes performances from Victoria Guerra, Paulo Pires and Albano Jerónimo.
