Based on the extraordinary central character of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, Roald Dahl's most iconic children's book and one of the best-selling children's books of all time, ‘Wonka’ tells the marvellous story of how the world's greatest inventor, magician and master chocolatier became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today. The story of Willy Wonka was adapted for the big screen in 1971 by Mel Stuart, with Gene Wilder in the lead role, and in 2005 by Tim Burton, with Johnny Depp as the protagonist. This new adaptation, directed by Paul King, features Timothée Chalamet as the young Wonka.
