The eagerly awaited Laurus Nobilis Music Fest is back for the 2024 edition. The parish of Louro, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, will host the metal music festival from 19 to 21 July. This year, SepticFlesh, Vader and Moonspell are the headliners.
While SepticFlesh will be presenting their new album "Modern Primitive", Vader will be celebrating 40 years of their career and Moonspell will be focusing on the classics "Wolfheart" and "Irreligious". The bands Godiva, Carach Angren, Hideous Divinity, Albaluma, Meraki, Sleep Therapy, Azzaya, Inn Cult and Porfiria 666 will also be at the festival.
As in previous editions, the event will continue to feature three stages. According to the information shared by the festival organisers, the CEVE Stage will feature the festival's main bands. The Crédito Agrícola Médio Ave Stage will host four bands a day and "will maintain the quality of the festival with a variety of national and international names". The Faz a Tua Cena Stage will open "doors to emerging artists so that they can experience playing at an already highly regarded summer festival".
Festivalgoers can not only enjoy the concerts, but also explore the catering area - which promises to have options for all tastes - and go camping.
Tickets are available at the usual venues, at BOL or at www.laurusnobilis.pt. General passes can be purchased for 60 euros and day passes for 40.
The Laurus Nobilis Music Fest programme can be found here. The festival has been organised since 2015 by the Associação Ecos Culturais do Louro, with the support of Famalicão City Council.
