Feira de Artesanato e Gastronomia realiza-se de 30 de agosto a 8 de setembro

Todos os anos, no final do mês de agosto, perto de uma centena de artesãos e produtores de todo o país rumam até Vila Nova de Famalicão onde, durante uma semana, apresentam e criam peças e produtos únicos a partir das mais diversas matérias-primas.
Este ano não será exceção e já se contam os dias para a 36.ª edição da Feira de Artesanato e Gastronomia, que decorre de 30 de agosto a 8 de setembro, no recinto do antigo campo da feira do município famalicense.
São dez dias de encontros e reencontros com as tradições, usos e costumes mais ancestrais de Portugal, num espaço que “é uma verdadeira montra da riqueza do nosso património ou não estivessem aqui representados o artesanato e a gastronomia de todo o país - do norte ao sul de Portugal”, explica o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha, na sua mensagem de apresentação do evento.
O trabalho ao vivo dos artesãos volta a ser um dos pontos fortes do certame, mas animação é coisa que também não vai faltar. De acordo com o autarca, a Feira de Artesanato e Gastronomia de Famalicão “é também um palco de excelência para os talentos locais e nacionais”, com espetáculos musicais diários e para todos os gostos.
À semelhança da edição anterior, a Feira de Artesanato e Gastronomia deste ano volta a dedicar uma noite à juventude com um concerto do rapper Jimmy P, no dia 5 de setembro, quinta-feira.
Pelo palco do evento vão passar mais de duas dezenas de artistas. Destaque para a presença já habitual dos ranchos folclóricos e grupos etnográficos do concelho, para as concertinas e cantares ao desafio e para os grupos de música popular, com as atuações, entre outros, dos Pedra D’Água, no dia 7, e Terceira Dimensão, no dia 2 de setembro. A música de câmara vai também subir ao palco da Feira, com um concerto da primeira edição da JOF – Jovem Orquestra de Famalicão, no dia 7 de setembro.
Destaque ainda para o concerto do grupo The Goodies Jazz Gang, no dia 31 de agosto, e de Sandy Kilpatrick & The Origins Band, no dia 4, quarta-feira.
