“Pequenos delírios domésticos” – título "roubado" a um poema de Sérgio Godinho – é o livro de contos da escritora e jornalista Ana Margarida de Carvalho que venceu, este ano, o Grande Prémio de Conto Camilo Castelo Branco. O galardão foi entregue, esta segunda-feira, pelos presidentes da Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão, Paulo Cunha, e da Associação Portuguesa de Escritores, José Manuel Mendes, na Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco, no âmbito da iniciativa Semana do Conto, que está a decorrer até à próxima sexta-feira, dia 9 de novembro.
Segundo a escritora “este é o livro mais pessoal que já escrevi e que jamais escreverei.” E explica: “é um livro sobre casas, sobre regressos, sobre famílias, sobre lares, sobre desejo de voltar. É um livro que tem na capa a fotografia da minha própria casa, que já não existe, que desapareceu por completo nos incêndios de outubro de 2017, deixando uma cratera”.
À laia de prefácio, Chão Zero, e numa espécie de epigrafe que é uma homenagem à casa, Ana Margarida de Carvalho dá testemunho da devastação que assolou o País durante os incêndios de Outubro de 2017.
“A trama narrativa, a invulgar atualidade de temas e personagens e as imagens que revelam uma interessante análise social e económica” foram apenas algumas das razões que levarão o júri, nas palavras de Isabel Cristina Mateus, a decidir por unanimidade este prémio, entre cerca de duas dezenas de obras a concurso.
Para José Manuel Mendes, trata-se de “um dos prémios mais antigos do país, com quase 3 décadas, e é simultaneamente um dos mais prestigiados. A circunstância de nessa antiguidade e nesse prestigio estarem envolvidos a Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão e a APE só pode trazer congratulação a ambas as instituições”. O presidente da APE sublinhou ainda que “a distinção que este ano recaiu sobre Ana Margarida de Carvalho e o seu livro “Pequenos delírios domésticos”, por unanimidade do júri, vem confirmar a vitalidade de um prémio que tem distinguido autores de diferentes gerações dos mais consagrados aos que estão apenas a emergir”.
Por sua vez, Paulo Cunha salientou a importância do prémio na divulgação e valorização da obra de Camilo Castelo Branco. “A cada ano que passa, com este Grande Prémio cumprimos uma etapa na valorização da obra camiliana.” E acrescentou que “o grande propósito que presidiu à iniciativa de 1991 de instituir este grande prémio foi dar permanência e lógica de continuidade à riqueza da obra literária de Camilo Castelo Branco e ver a APE dar este prestigio ao Prémio é uma forma de enaltecer uma iniciativa da Câmara Municipal”.
O autarca destacou ainda que este prémio constitui “um modesto apoio da autarquia à criação literária”, um contributo que, considera, “deveria ser replicado, apesar de não se tratar de um papel das autarquias”.
Refira-se que o prémio é atribuído pela Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão em parceria com a Associação Portuguesa de Escritores e destina-se a distinguir uma obra em língua portuguesa de um autor português ou de país africano de expressão portuguesa, publicada em livro, 1.ª edição. O valor do prémio é de 7.500 euros.
